It all begins with an idea.

Our film Pyrocene is about a group of children trying to escape a forest fire. Since filming an active forest fire was out of the question, Joe set out on a mission to learn how to digitally create a forest fire.

Below you can see what the scene looks like before the digital fire is added.

The Result.

On the right, notice the digital fire flash in and out. This is because the scene occurs during a flashback. The entire process of adding digital fire took about three days.
